He has extensive experience in treating the following conditions using
microsurgery and
Ilizarov techniques:
hand and foot trauma, thumb/finger defects, finger/limb replantation, limb deformities, limb dysfunction, osteomyelitis, bone defects, bone exposure, nonunion, malunion, refractory wounds, and lower extremity ischemic diseases (e.g., diabetic foot).
He performed the
first ectopic limb replantation in Yueyang (forearm amputation, 5th case in Hunan Province)
and the
first transverse tibial bone transport for lower extremity ischemic disease (thromboangiitis obliterans, 4th case in Hunan Province).
He pioneered Ilizarov techniques for severe lower limb deformities in Yueyang and routinely performs free flap transplantation, saving numerous limbs in severely injured patients.
He has published 6 medical papers and presided over one research project at Huizhou municipal level (Guangdong) and one project from Hunan Provincial Health Commission.
